This is my friend April and her beautiful daughter {G}.

They both look like they belong in a magazine.  Makes my job EASY.

{G} is  a silly girl!  I love this age in little girls because they think that everything is just so stinkin’ hilarious!  Which is great because it helped me get some great shots of her cute smile with her two missing front teeth.  LOVE IT!  April is the bomb with the  props.  I think I might have to figure out a way to get her to become my “Prop Stylist”. She showed up with some sweet stuff!

My friend Andi is so nice and generous and is letting me borrow her orange chair.  So I plan on using the heck out of it before I have to give it back.  So if ya’ll get sick of seeing it, get over it because it won’t be around forever!

This chick is rad!!  I seriously love her.

So last week, I had the opportunity to attend WPPI {Wedding & Portrait Photographers International.} It is this super huge convention/tradeshow for photographers.  You get to go to amazing classes and walk around the tradeshow and see lots of goodies!  I went down with my friend Andi Watkins.  We stayed at my friend Teresa’s house. She is the hostess with the mostess. Hot breakfast every morning!  Can’t beat that!  Thanks so much T!  .It was a blast!

The classes were all amazing!  My faves were the Sallee’s, and Jasmine Star.  Talk about inspiration! I learned so many things that I look forward to implementing into my business. During the Sallee’s class, they were giving away a bunch of goodies throughout the class.  They would have a question pop up on the projector and they said that whoever was the craziest, most insane person that had the answer right, would win.  There was a ton of crazy photog people in there, so I was not really feeling in the mood to get all crazy psycho and still not win.  So after the first couple questions had popped up {both of the answers being Las Vegas}, the Sallee’s mention that on the next question, they had 3 prizes to giveaway.  OK.  That upped my odds.  They said they had a Drop it Modern Backdrop {I want one}, a 20X30 Gallery Wrapped Canvas {been coveting forever!!}, and something else I can’t remember.  So Andi whispers too me, “You need to get crazy and win that backdrop for us to share!”  She told me to stand up on the chair if I had too!  So I tell her to make sure she holds on tight to my chair because I knew that when the craziness came out, who knows what could happen.  So the question was asked, the answer was Las Vegas.  I go flying up onto my chair screaming over and over again, “LAS VEGAS, LAS VEGAS, LAS VEGAS!!”  I also added a the Arsenio Hall fist pump: HOO, HOO, HOO, HOO.  Anybody know what I am talking about?  So of course crazy girl in black shirt {me} is picked as one of the winners.  So I run up to the front before any of the other winners.  That way I could get first dibs on the prizes.  They ask me what I want, and I know I am supposed to be a good friend and get the back drop, but I am having flashes in my head of my bare front entry wall that would look amazing with a FREE 20X30 Gallery Wrap.  So I get the gallery wrap.  Ya that’s the kind of friend I am.  During their class, I also caught a Tshirt, so I gave that to Andi.  See I am nice.

Sorry no pictures.  I remember reading somewhere that you can spot the wanna-be’s  at WPPI because they are the ones walking around with camera’s around their necks.  I am so not a wannabe, I am the real deal so you were not going to see a camera around my neck!!

But now I wish I would have taken more pictures with my phone!

Isn’t she beautiful?  We had a ton of fun hanging out.  My wonderful “assistant” Amber helped out with the shoot!  How I wish I had a helper everytime!  I love how these pictures turned out!  {J}, I hope you like them too!  I will be posting even more pictures from this session on my facebook page, so make sure to check it out!  If you are a senior needing some pictures, you might want to check this out!

How cute is this prego mamma!  She is my long time good friend. She actually worked at Bugle Boy Outlet with me and that is when/where I met my hubbie.  Ya, we are cool; we worked at Bugle Boy.  Her sister “Tree” is my good friend too.  I was super exited to take her belly pictures.  She is having a baby girl in May and she is going to be such a great mom.  The day after her photo session, she had her baby shower.  I had some pictures all ready and put into frames for her to display {yes, sometimes I can be that fast!} So technically this isn’t a true sneak peak because she has seen most of these.   It’s just a sneak peak for the rest of you! I can’t wait to do baby {B}’s newborn pictures!!!
