Swiss Days and a heck of a deal!
Posted on September 28, 2009
Swiss Days was a huge success and blast. My bow making friend Kelsi asked if I wanted to join her and share a booth. It was so much fun! Not only did I sell lots of Pettiskirts, I also booked a bunch of sessions!! Woo-hoo!! So all you procrastinators who are dreading it and putting off getting your family pics done, hurry it up. If you need a little motivation {aka kick in the butt} you might want to pay attention: At Swiss Days, I was passing out a coupon that I have decided to pass onto you.
Get your family pictures done by October 15th, I will give you $25 off.
That makes it $75, CD and all. So that gives you only 2 weeks to prepare. So hurry up and call me because like I said, I have already booked a bunch and there is only so many hours in the day. I know that nothing motivates me more than saving a buck. If that’s not motivation for you, then I guess we have less in common than I thought.
I didn’t take tons of pictures during Swiss Days. I was way too busy chit chatting with all of the new friends I was meeting {call me;)}. It is weird because even though I grew up in St. George, Santa Clara is far enough away, that I hardly saw anyone I knew. You know, because anytime I go anywhere, I see a million people I know. I am that cool. I wish I would have gotten a picture of us working the booth, but we were so hot, sweaty and gross, it would have not been pretty. It was so hot, I got tan lines on my feet! So back to picture taking. Last minute (like noon on Sat.) I decide to offer 10 minute mini sessions for kids. You can see the details here. I did have quite a few takers so I was happy about that. It was so hot, most kids were total grumps.
This cute baby girl {H}, was one of those hot grumpy cuties. I was so excited that the second I started shooting, she transformed. It was fun because she was a bit younger than my daughter, but she didn’t run away. How I wish my little missy would stay still for 2 seconds.
Check out this chicks eyes. CRAZY huh! I am sure she thought I was CRAZY when, in mid-conversation I start freaking out about her eyes and asking her if I could take a picture. But we all know that I am so not crazy. Right?

So stinkin’ cute this little missy is. Don’t you love the headband and bow? My friend Kelsi makes them. You can see more of her stuff here. Pretty much all my bows you see here or on my daughter are made by Kelsi. Its a sick addiction! Anyhoo, I told you I was going to do a contest for Little {B}’s parents. OK. Really, it is for her mom. I don’t think her dad is going to care too much. Sorry. If Little {B}’s parents can get 20 of their friends and family to comment on one of Little {B}’s posts saying which one of the 4 pictures of {B} is their favorite and why, Little {B}’s parents will win………
Two Custom made bows from It’s a Girl Thing, Bows and More! Woo-hoo! Just trying to spread the bow addiction!
Contest ends next Sunday (20th). Make me proud!

I loved, loved, loved this baby girl! Her Grandma lives right behind me and just so happens to be the coolest school bus driver in town! I was so excited to take pictures of this cute baby girl! I have a plethora of cute girl stuff that I have been excited to try out. She didn’t disappoint. She was perfect. Putty in my hands. I wish her parents would have just left her for the day. We would have had so much fun together! There will be more to come later!
Stay tuned. I plan on posting a few more tonight. There will be a contest for little {B}’s parents to win something sweet! Yippee! I am excited!
