Holy cow, I am so behind!  The last few weeks have been crazy full of sessions! So this week I am playing catch up!  So if you are waiting for your sneak peak and it seems like its never going to come, I promise, it is!!!

This is the Tooke family!  They are so cool.  Just totally chill and laid back.  Doesn’t their radness show in the pictures.  I think so.  They own Escape Hair & Body over on Riverside Dr.  If you are in need of a great hair artist, Shane is your man!!  We had a lot of fun during the session.  At the very beginning, the 15 year old daughter {ya, she is only 15!!} and mom were attacked by a flying beetle.  It was on a mission to get these girls to run all over the parking lot.  I don’t know why it liked them so much and not anyone else, but I was fine with it.  Of course, I was laughing way too hard to get a picture:(  At the end of the session I MADE each the kids show me their ugliest face.  Of course, I took a picture of each face.  Um…ya, they have some ugly faces!! lol!  Sorry, I promised I wouldn’t post them!!  But trust me, they were pretty hilarious!

These are their pretty faces:

I had never met this family before their session.  Amber and I had been emailing back and forth since April about getting their pictures done.  They live in California, and were planning a trip to St. George to visit family.  So of course, they wanted to get their pictures done!!  Anyways, the day before the session, a light bulb goes off and Amber asks me if my husband’s name is Chris.  Yes.  Apparently, Amber’s hubbie Matt and Chris had a bunch of classes together during their college years and were pretty good friends.  Hows that for a small world!  Chris even stopped by at the shoot to say hi!  Don’t you think this family is drop dead gorgeous!!  Um ya.

Note to self:  2 year olds and mud don’t mix well with family pics:)

These are our super great friends Brent and Diana {pronounced, Dee-Anna;)} and their cute girls.  They recently moved up to Idaho and we have missed them greatly! This was their first trip back to St. George since they moved.  It’s only been 5 months, and their cute girls have changed so much!!  They are absolutely beautiful.  I have taken their pictures many times before, and they are total pro’s.  I wish I could say it was because of my photog skills, but its not.  They are little models who know exactly how to strike the perfect pose!!  Ok.  Maybe little Makiah is still learning, but it won’t be long:)

Funny story:  When the Skinner’s first moved to St. George 5ish years ago, they stayed with us for about a month.  Because tey were together most of the time, their oldest Kaitlin and my oldest Weston would fight over the dumbest things.  At the time Weston was 4 and Kaitlin was almost 3.  Their favorite thing to fight about: who had the most trophies.  We aren’t talking like the little sports trophies that sit on the shelf in their room.  They were too young for those.  We are talking about those invisible trophies that all kids have.  What?  Your kids don’t have invisible trophies?  Well these two kids did and they would bring each other to tears fighting over who had the most trophies.  They would even sit there and count out loud how many they each had.  Diana and I would just die laughing!  Why we didn’t catch it on video….I don’t know!

Like I said, we are still training Makiah!

This lil’ Miss is 3 weeks old.  She must not have gotten the memo that most 3 week old babies do not get the chunk so soon!  I loved every single bit of it!!!  Chunky baby must equal happy baby cuz she was giving us huge smiles for almost a minute straight!!  She also had her cute little piggies already painted!!

Bethi came and helped out with this shoot:)  Thanks Bethi!

Miss Paige turned one and her mom wanted to get pics of her cuteness!

No wonder, she is absolutely darling!  I loved her cute funny faces she kept making!  She’s a crack-up!

Her mom Anne is an amazing masseuse! Her name is Anne Lee and she is at LifeLight Massage. I met her at the What Women Want Expo this last May.  She was offering mini 5 minute massages.  At the end of the second day of What Women Want, standing on that concrete floor , my lower back was killing.  So I headed over to Anne’s booth.  I have been to a lot of Massage therapists before.  Usually, I am disappointed in massages I get.  Not this time.  The pain was completely gone after 5 minutes.  Not even kidding!!  So if you are looking to get an extraordinarily phenomenal massage, look no further my friends.  You will thank me:)  I’m a huge fan of Mrs. Anne!!

So a couple months ago, I took Miss Swaizeys newborn pics.  Loved that session, so I was super excited when her mom called me to get pictures of the kids.  She was in a bit of a predicament you see.  Her youngest son was about to loose his front tooth.  She knew that she was going to want some family pictures done in a couple months, but….she really wanted pics of her cute boy without the missing tooth.   So we worked out a deal and got the kids done now, and we will be doing the family session in the next couple months.  They are so stinkin cute!!!

So at the end of the session, he so badly wanted to get that tooth pulled.

So dad came to the rescue, and the little guy was so tough!!

I think he looks pretty dang cute with the missing tooth too!!
